KANZANGLAZE LABRADORS

Kanzanglaze Labradors, based in Suffolk, East Anglia, was established to continue the passion ignited by my experiences at Blyvalley Labradors, which was founded over 30 years ago by my father.

My father introduced me to Fox Red Labradors when I was young & helped to me train my first ever dog. I went from picking up on our local shoot, to competing at working field trials as I immediately found a love & interest for the breed, now continuing that legacy with my own Fox Red Stud Dogs.

Over the years I have gone on to win field trials & featured in several awards, as well as judging field trials & working tests. I won my first field trial back in 2012 & became a non-panel judge not long after in 2013. Working & competing with my dogs successfully at a high level has become both my hobby & passion.

It was the Suffolk Gundog Club who kindly asked me to judge my first ever working test & my first trial. I have been a member of the Suffolk Gundog Club for 12 years & in recent years joined their committee. I am also a member of many other clubs & have also judged trials for them. Recently, In 2021, I was fortunate enough to be nominated by the Labrador Retriever Club to become a Kennel Club B-Panel judge.

Alongside their role as Fox Red Labrador stud dogs, during the shooting season the dogs and I are out working for 30+ days, while the summer months are spent on training and preparation for the following season.
